Cevo appoints Allison Howells and Sean Hooper as new practice leads for Data & AI and Modernisation

Cevo has appointed Allison Howells as its new Data and AI Practice Lead and Sean Hooper as its new Modernisation Practice Lead.

In the newly created role of Data and AI Practice Lead, Howells will spearhead Cevo’s data and artificial intelligence practice, driving vision and strategy, managing delivery of customer engagements, and fostering a team of talented professionals. She will focus on data and AI-driven initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and high customer satisfaction.

Howells brings over 19 years of experience in data and analytics, product development, and business intelligence and analysis. Prior to joining Cevo, Howells was most recently the Director of Data and Analytics at Slalom, where she was responsible for identifying insights using data analytics to deliver significant value for clients. She has also gained experience in data leadership roles at frog, Beyond Blue, Experian Asia Pacific, IAG and Suncorp.

Hooper ​​will lead Cevo’s modernisaton practice, focusing on strengthening Cevo’s modernisation initiatives through its next phase of growth. This will involve managing the delivery of impactful customer outcomes, and developing effective capabilities and solution offerings in the modernisation space.

Hooper joins the Cevo team with extensive experience in leading modernisation consulting and delivery across various technology applications and solutions. Previously, Hooper was most recently Mainframe Modernisation Lead at Accenture Australia. He has also held senior roles at AWS, Oracle, Tripoint Corporation and BEA Systems.
