Cevo are thrilled to see the Watchmen project receive recognition in the 2018 ThoughtWorks Technology Radar.
Highly anticipated, and well regarded within the technology community, the Radar documents which trends and changes ThoughtWorks believes are interesting in software development.
The Watchmen project, which Cevo helped develop with our enterprise client, allows organisations to undertake AWS migration of applications using centrally managed Config rules, with confidence that security or regulatory compliance requirements are being met. In late 2017 the code was released to the open source community, allowing other organisations and delivery teams to utilise the work.
Watchmen features in the Techniques quadrant > Assess ring > Infrastructure configuration scanner section of the Tech Radar. This places it in a category of tools that are deemed as worthy of exploring with the goal of understanding how it may benefit an enterprise organisation.
Cevo’s General Manager, Hannah Browne is delighted to see Watchmen on the Radar: “It was exciting enough to work with a large enterprise customer building and open sourcing Watchmen. Now having it called out in the technology radar by a group of technical luminaries including Martin Fowler, well, it’s incredible external validation and recognition from a group of our most respected peers.”
Congratulations to all involved in developing and implementing Watchmen. More information on the project can be found here:
