Databricks × AWS × Cevo.
Three strengths, one outcome: data you can trust and AI you can use.
New partnership. Proven Databricks delivery.
Our Databricks partnership is new. Our Databricks experience isn’t: Cevo has already delivered Databricks projects for Australian organisations.
For years, Cevo has designed, secured and run data platforms on AWS for some of Australia’s most regulated organisations. We’ve built landing zones that pass audits, pipelines that don’t break at 2am, and governance models that satisfy the risk committee.
As an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, we know what it takes to put data to work safely in the cloud. Now we’re formalising what we’ve already been doing with Databricks. The result is DB³, the Power of 3.
The maths is simple
- AWS gives you the secure, scalable foundation your organisation already trusts.
- Databricks gives you one lakehouse platform for data engineering, analytics and AI, running natively on AWS.
- Cevo gives you the glue: proven delivery frameworks, reusable IP, and people who have done this in your industry before.
Each of these is powerful alone. Together, they’re cubed.
Better together, by design
DB³ isn’t about choosing one platform over another. Databricks on AWS runs in your own AWS environment, on Amazon S3 storage, secured with AWS identity, networking and encryption. It can also be procured through AWS Marketplace.
That means your AWS investment keeps working harder. DB³ builds on the foundation you already have, whether your data services are native AWS, Databricks, or both. And when you’re ready for generative AI, DB³ connects your governed data to services like Amazon Bedrock.
Five industries. Five familiar headaches.
Financial Services: “Three systems, one customer, zero agreement.” Your customer looks different in core banking, CRM and claims. Meanwhile, the regulator wants lineage for every number in the risk report. DB³ delivers a trusted Customer 360 with PII controls and governance aligned to APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234.
Government: “Ministerial reporting shouldn’t take a month of spreadsheets.” Program data sits across legacy systems and business units, and every quarter someone reconciles it by hand. DB³ brings it into one secure, governed platform with shared KPI definitions, so every report tells the same story.
Education: “Census date is too late.” Student signals are scattered across student management, learning and finance systems. DB³ connects them so universities can spot at-risk students in week three, not week thirteen.
Utilities: “Fix what’s failing, not what’s scheduled.” Your network generates mountains of sensor and asset data, but maintenance still runs on the calendar. DB³ puts asset, sensor and work-order data on one lakehouse, ready for condition-based and predictive maintenance.
Construction: “Find the overrun before it finds you.” Cost and schedule data is spread across ERP, contractors and site tools. DB³ gives you one consistent, portfolio-wide view of project health, before the variance report lands.
Start where you are, not where the brochure says
Every organisation is at a different point in its data journey. DB³ meets you there with focused accelerators, each delivering outcomes in weeks rather than years.

Why Cevo?
- Regulated-industry DNA. We’ve spent years delivering in financial services, government, education, utilities and construction. We know the compliance frameworks, the risk conversations and the stakeholders.
- AWS depth, from the ground up. Most Databricks projects succeed or stall on the cloud foundation underneath: networking, identity, security and cost. That’s where Cevo has always been strongest.
- Reusable IP, not reinvented wheels. Landing zones, security controls, CI/CD pipelines and workspace configurations are already built and tested, so your team gets to value faster.
Quick answers
What is DB³? DB³ (also written DB3), “The Power of 3”, is Cevo’s framework for delivering governed, AI-ready data platforms using Databricks on AWS.
Does Databricks replace AWS? No. Databricks on AWS runs inside your AWS environment and builds on AWS storage, security and networking. DB³ is designed to strengthen your existing AWS investment.
Is Cevo a Databricks partner? Yes. Cevo is a Databricks partner and an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, with a dedicated Data Intelligence practice.
How quickly can we see results? DB³ accelerators are designed to deliver outcomes in weeks, not years, using pre-built patterns and industry data products.
Where do we start? Start at the stage that matches your biggest challenge today, then scale from there.
Ready to cube your data?
Whether you’re escaping legacy systems, preparing for an audit, or getting serious about AI, DB³ gives you a faster, safer path to data you can trust.
